Hip arthroscopy

This video illustrates reshaping of the femoral neck (femoral osteoplasty) in order to treat the CAM deformity.

The arthroscopic technique as demonstrated by Professor Schilders in this video shows the step by step procedure of arthroscopic FAI treatment.

Clearance of the soft tissues over the CAM deformity is followed by bone resection in order to achieve free movement of the hip joint without impingement.

The hip joint is finally being inspected in all compartments accessible to arthroscopy.
