Computer assisted hip resurfacing

Computer assisted surgery aims to address well know possible complications of hip resurfacing operations and rehabilitation.

Precise positioning of the femoral head implant should prevent potential loosening of the cemented femoral component. Optimized implant load helps to prevent a fracture of the femoral neck. Accurate measuring of the pelvic and femoral anatomy will assure component match. Reconstruction of stable joint biomechanics should address possible recurrent sub-luxation.
